EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt has resigned. Pruitt who is the most embattled member of Trump’s cabinet said that personal attacks and the attacks on his family were major factors in his resignation.
According to CNBC:
Scott Pruitt, the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency who was key to implementing President Trump’s conservative agenda but came under intense scrutiny for a series of questionable ethical decisions, resigned Thursday afternoon.
It is unclear who President Trump will pick to replace Pruitt as the head of the EPA. Pruitt led the charge in deregulation at the agency, making way for economic growth.
